Project Background

ICL, one of our most significant clients, had commissioned us to develop more than 30 custom games. In August 2022, they approached us with a new project: to create a virtual wellness space for their employees based in Israel and across the globe. The primary objective of this space was to enhance their employees’ lifestyle by offering tutorials, games, tips, updates, and various other resources.

Initially, the virtual wellness space was intended as a pilot program, exclusively for the company’s employees in Israel. It was planned to roll out the platform for all employees worldwide after successful implementation.

the challenges

he project presented several key challenges that we needed to address effectively:

  1. Harmonizing ICL’s Design Language: Incorporating content from different providers, such as videos, articles, and tutorials, while maintaining the consistent design language of ICL. It was crucial to ensure that each service provider’s design aligned seamlessly with ICL’s brand identity.

  2. Global User Experience: As the platform was intended for ICL’s employees worldwide, we needed to create a user experience that resonated with users from diverse cultural backgrounds and design sensibilities. Striking a balance between familiarity and novelty was essential to ensure user satisfaction.

  3. Dynamic Content Management: The platform’s main goal was to provide high-quality and ever-changing content. This brought forth the challenge of building a flexible and efficient system that allowed for swift and accurate updates of content during its usage period.

Overcoming these challenges required a careful and strategic approach, combining design expertise with technical proficiency to deliver a successful virtual wellness space for ICL’s employees.

the development process

Throughout the development process, effective communication and collaboration with the client played a pivotal role in delivering a high-quality virtual wellness space that aligned with ICL’s vision and served the needs of their diverse global workforce.

Platform Usage

The virtual wellness platform proved to be a significant success, engaging employees from ICL across the globe throughout the year of wellness. The usage statistics highlight the positive impact it had on the company’s workforce:

  1. Monthly User Visits: On average, more than 1,000 users visited the platform every month. This consistent traffic demonstrates the platform’s popularity and its ability to attract a substantial number of users regularly.

  2. Average Stay Duration: Users spent an average of 12 minutes per visit on the platform. The extended duration of each visit suggests that the content and features provided were compelling and engaging, encouraging users to spend quality time exploring the wellness space.

  3. Regular Content Updates: To keep the platform fresh and relevant, the company’s development team made two content updates each month. This frequent updating of content contributed to the platform’s appeal, providing users with new and valuable resources regularly.

The success of the platform can be attributed to the careful consideration of user needs and the seamless integration of content from various sources. By striking a balance between ICL’s design language and user preferences from different cultures, the platform provided a cohesive and enriching experience for ICL’s global workforce.

The virtual wellness space played a vital role in achieving the company’s goal of improving employees’ lifestyles and promoting wellness. The positive user engagement and continuous updates ensured that the platform remained a valuable resource for ICL’s employees, contributing to their well-being and overall satisfaction with the company.
